About Us

Mosaic Transit Group consists of Canadian and international leaders that develop rail and light rail transit infrastructure: ACS Infrastructure Canada Inc., Aecon and CRH Canada Group Inc.

Our legal name is Mosaic Transit Partners General Partnership, a special-purpose company that was established solely for the Finch West LRT project. For simplicity we go by Mosaic Transit Group.

Our team members have extensive experience building light rail transit projects in Canada including: Confederation Line in Ottawa, ION in the Region of Waterloo, Eglinton Crosstown LRT in Toronto, and more recently the Reseau Express Metropolitan in Montreal.

Finch West LRT Responsibilities

In May 2018, Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario selected Mosaic Transit Group to design and construct 18 stops, track work, signals, communications and other required infrastructure, as well as a maintenance and storage facility. We are financing the project during construction and will maintain the system for 30 years, providing lifecycle repair and renewal of building and system components.

Metrolinx owns the Finch West LRT and TTC will operate it.
